It’s very tall and I’m still getting used to that, but fortunately the ceiling is quite high in that room. This is a contemporary floor lamp that is well made and easy to assemble. As a task lamp, it lights a specific area well but does not (and is not meant to) light the whole room. Very high quality lamp, solid metal, and it arrived properly wrapped with the metal finish protected. I will say it’s a bit tricky to put together as the long arms are a bit awkward to maneuver. Read the assembly instructions as there is a certain sequence you have to follow. Took about an hour to assemble and align the curved arms. It has a dimmer and can also change the color temperature of the LED lights from cold to warm. It is at the most warm setting in the picture. Very happy with this purchase.. Thomas.
