The Belmar Coffee Table is a nice quality with heavy stone top and smooth wooden legs. We did not keep it as it did not fit appropriately in the room due to the dimensions which are a little strange due the shape of the top. It would fit much better in a small room. I've read a lot of reviews before purchasing this table which I was nervous about since most hated the size and said it was flimsy and cheap looking. Firstly, I disagree with people that give this table 1 star because it's small and looks like a toy. All the sizes are advertised so one shouldn't fault the table for that. It's true though that the table is very compact but it's all relative. I have very low outdoor couches so this was a perfect fit. It could have been a tad wider but alas. We now have six of these in our house in the linen color … three of the small ones and three of the big ones. All of them are in room corners to allow for sitting to put on shoes, look out a window, etc. in a couple places I put pillows propped up to make for leaning back while sitting. Because they don’t have any wood or hardware that shows, they don’t compete with anything and go with any style of furniture. The linen color at least looks very upscale. I was looking for a solid wood coffee table that had bottom shelving. The plan was to fill it with books and I did! It's a coffee table bookshelf - LOL! I had an amazing experience with All Modern (not so much with their sister company Wayfair). I will rearrange the books some but the plan is to keep this thing filled with books and drink coasters; this is my reading living room. :) You can buy the stain finish online to refinish it every year or so.
