The white hand-blown glass shade diffuses the light from a single 60W medium base bulb (not included), creating a warm, ambient glow. Plus, the wood-inspired mount gives it a mixed-material vibe. To maintain its beauty, simply wipe clean with a dry cloth. (Iron canopy with wood grain finish.)

The light fixture is beautiful and modern. It gives off a good amount of light. It was easy to install. The only issue we had was that the pegs were shorter than the fixture that was in place before and now the fixture is a bit loose because it cannot be tightened all the way into the socket. The Helmes one-light flush fixture is an industrial yet minimalist design, making this fixture perfect for an eclectic living room or over a modern dining room table. Milk glass gives the Helmes series a more current look.
