Briceson 14.5 " 1 - Light Flush Mount

The lights are just what I wanted. I installed two for my hallway and they look great for the money. The only drawback is the light is quite dim. I will buy brighter light bulbs.

It looks nice, but it was a little cumbersome getting the screws in the the ceiling attachment. For the most part, it was easy to install, but that one part was very awkward and more time consuming than necessary.

Without exaggeration I have removed and replaced at least 100 light fixtures in my time and this has to be one of the easiest I ever have installed. The domed canopy cover on the fixture allows for it to be easily attached to the mounting strap on the outlet box so you dont have to struggle trying to tuck excess wire into the junction box. The fixture was easily installed in 5 minutes. My only problem was with the globe style shade. It does not fit over a standard size bulb. I knew that from reading the reviews and had purchased the bulb recommended by other reviewers. Unfortunately that didnt work either. I had to resort to a standard base candle type bulb. The fixture will only handle 40 w Max so do not depend on this fixture for more than ambient lighting. I still love the style and it works for me. I consider it a good value for the money.

I like the look of these fixtures, but like other reviewers have mentioned, the light is pretty dim due to the size bulb you can use that will fit in the glass shade. Wood also definitely looks fake if you're installing somewhere it's clearly visible at eye level. Simple to install.
