Very high quality lamp, solid metal, and it arrived properly wrapped with the metal finish protected. I will say it’s a bit tricky to put together as the long arms are a bit awkward to maneuver. Read the assembly instructions as there is a certain sequence you have to follow. Took about an hour to assemble and align the curved arms. We love this lamp. It was immediately apparent that it was of a much higher quality than similar, cheaper lamps, and very much worth the price. Attaching the post to the base was a challenge. The included wrench was nice, but awkward given the limited angle afforded by the base. I had a very hard time getting the post tight and perpendicular to the base.
