If you’re unable to do this (be part of the 2 persons needed to lift and move the cabinet around) spend the $95 and have them send someone to unbox and install for you. solid quality piece. the interior wood does lean more yelloworange than i’d prefer. soft close interior drawers were nice, but double doors were not. you can’t tell from the pictures, but the hinge does run the whole height of the unit and is visible from the outside (also black so doesn’t stand out much). my unit had issues but came to a resolution after a few calls with wayfair.. I ordered this bookcase in January. It came on January 31, a Saturday but only two boxes were there out of 4 and one of those had a badly damaged base unit in it. I called All Modern and another bookcase was sent. It arrived toward the end of February. It was extremely heavy so we waited a week until we could get help to put it together. The two gentlemen putting the huge bookcase together were very impressed with the construction, the perfect measurements of the holes for screws and other parts, and we love how this piece of furniture looks in our living room. We appreciate that All Modern responded to their mistake with the first shipment, that they realized the problem and rectified it. Beautiful cabinet. The color is more burgundy than red. It did arrive with minor damage (chipped paint and a few scratches) that looks to have come from the manufacturer, not shipping. It is minor enough that I am keeping it. I put it together alone with no issues. Take your time and follow the instructions. Had several issues out of the box. The frame at the bottom was coming apart, and in the process pulling the doors out of alignment. There was a broken chip near one of the door hingers. Several cracks in the side and top. Since it would be a hassle trying to return it, and I plan on using it as a printer stand, I've patched it up myself and added some screws to hold the bottom together.
