Beautiful cabinet. The color is more burgundy than red. It did arrive with minor damage (chipped paint and a few scratches) that looks to have come from the manufacturer, not shipping. It is minor enough that I am keeping it. I put it together alone with no issues. Take your time and follow the instructions. It's a really nice looking cabinet, spacious, and even magnetic on the outside. It's perfect for easily accessible storage. Assembly was really difficult. A lot of holes/screws were mis-sized and didn't align. I couldn't manage it myself so had to get a Taskrabbit with the proper tools to help, who was able to get it done quickly.
