Drawing on Scandinavian design, this extendable dining table leans into its retro look with warm wood grains and a minimalist silhouette. Crafted from a solid base and engineered wood top, this table features a clean-lined, rectangular surface with a reverse beveled edge. And if more are coming by for dinner, the included butterfly leaf is easy to snap into place, letting this table expand from seating six, to seating eight.

There is a tradeoff between style and stability. You won't be able to sit on this table without it tipping all the way over. Obviously, there's no reason to sit on a table; just setting expectations. Otherwise it's absolutely stable enough for dining and such. The markings on the surface are obviously intentional and meant to evoke an industrial feel. There is a blotchy shine or lamination on the surface that I'm not sure if it should be scrubbed off or ignored (it's not painfully obvious). The table is exceptionally made the top is solid and does not even look like a veneer top. The base is hollow which is fine but it looks very nice and solid. Arrived damaged, they send replacement, replacement arrived damaged again, got refunded, so nice customer service, no complains there. But even if it whould not be damaged its not a solid wood top. Its looks ok but quality is not. The top is not perfecrly smooth, you can feel the seams. Also hard to clean the spots. It is very heavy.
