The table looks just beautiful in our space. The color is great and fits just as I was hoping. I just do notice a few areas that seem “dry”, as the finish they put on wasn’t properly done correctly, and therefore harder to clean. I’m wondering if I need to add any kind of protective cover in the form of oiling it or something. I just feel that the beautiful smooth top might not hold up too well under daily use. This table ended up being ok once we fixed the problems ourselves but it was a real pain. The leaf was installed completely wrong with one of the poles sticking out of the socket so it was crooked and stuck when you tried to open it. One end of the other pole for the leaf up top was installed into the wrong hole as well so once it was able to open, couldn’t open up all the way.
