This table is so nice! It’s on the smaller side for a family but would work great in an apartment. I’m using it as my desk and it’s gorgeous. It was super easy to build and it very nice quality! This table ended up being ok once we fixed the problems ourselves but it was a real pain. The leaf was installed completely wrong with one of the poles sticking out of the socket so it was crooked and stuck when you tried to open it. One end of the other pole for the leaf up top was installed into the wrong hole as well so once it was able to open, couldn’t open up all the way. This is a very beautiful table in person, but the listing misrepresents what it looks like in real life. The color of the oak is much warmer in person, and has more knots in it, which is not ideal. You get what you pay for--price was right, quality so so. One if the dowel holes was completely offline, so we left it out...dont think it compromised the structure much. The veneer seems very thin, and the finish on the top almost makes it look plastic. It serves its purpose, but I would have happily paid more for better quality all around.. Ann.
