Drawing on mid-century caning techniques and Scandinavian minimalism, this stool delivers an airy, retro seat for your space. It's crafted with a solid wood frame and features a seat made from woven strands of paper cord for that airy look. The backless design lets this stool pull up flush under your counters or table, helping save you on square footage where it matters most. Felt pads cap off each foot to protect your floors. Partial assembly is required.

These stools were easy to put together and seem very sturdy. The height worked well for me for our counter-height kitchen island. I did remove the plastic discs that were screwed into the bottom of each leg and replaced them with a soft pad that won't scratch our wood floors. They are not the most comfortable to sit on for long periods of time, but about what I would expect from a stool with this kind of woven seat. I also like that they are not as deep as they are wide, so they tuck under the counter overhang a bit better than my prior stools.. Molly. San Mateo, CA. Tue Apr 09 2024

Made of hard wood. Nice, simple design. This stool is made for a higher bar, so make sure to pay attention to the dimensions. Sadly, I did not, and this stool is about three inches too high for us. Overall a solid piece, but not really our style in the end.. Allison. Cumberland, ME. Sat Jul 27 2024

Made of chamcha wood, the Ophelia bar stool has a tremendous amount of personality due to the richness of its woodgrain. With exquisite craftsmanship, we have rescued the reclaimed chamcha wood from being one of nature’s finest castaways by making it into this elemental design statement. Because the wood for its back is reclaimed, there will be variations from piece to piece, including some with beautiful butterfly joints. We also offer this bar stool in a gray stone finish and a natural finish, and we have two counter stools in this collection. Each of these reflects the ethos that Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic. This piece is crafted from natural solid wood. The color and character of wood grain may vary and natural cracks and holes may be present adding a unique character to your piece.

Looks cheep for the price. These are absolute junco. Within two months the rails on the bottom broke. The are not level and are very cheaply made. I can believe they would charge what they do for these. Don’t order them, they are junk. Kathy. Salem, MA. Thu Jan 09 2025
