This is Adesso's largest lamp! This gigantic and maneuverable floor lamp produces 150 watts of lighting, has a satin steel body with a round black iron base, and an oversized natural poly/cotton box pleat shade. Large coil springs in the lamp structure provide its maneuverability. The lamp can be adjusted for height using the springs at the base and at the center joint. It uses a foot step switch.

One Major Flaw

It has replaced the chandelier over the dining room table. Removed one of the adjusting springs to increase the lamp's reach from a corner out to the center of the room. You can actually walk underneath it. I love the look, hated the glare of the exposed bulb over our heads. Cut a circle from sheet of diffuser material and suspended it inside the shade. If the manufacturer had taken the time to do that, it would have been PERFECT.

Very pleased with my purchase

I bought this to use as overhead lighting above the dining table. We live in a 14' tall loft and suspended lighting was not an option in this location. It works and looks great. The only thing I wish it had is a dimmer switch.
