It’s nice and heavy but the angle of the shade is such that it glares ( the light bulb) to anyone other than sitting directly under it. I carefully chose this one bor its’ space, but find it virtually unusable because of the glare aspect of it. Quality is good, just poor design. Quite disappointed, actually.

Very pleased with this purchase. My friend helped me put it together so it was it a little more difficult to figure out for those of us who are spacially challenged - but the quality is great and the dimensions are exactly what I was hoping for.

I love everything about this lamp! It blends a traditional look (linen like lampshade) with a more modern twist (the shape of the lampshade) abs goes so well with my sophisticated farmhouse aesthetic. It’s also quite tall compared to other floor lamps and works proportionately well in my living room with 20’ ceilings. The base is heavy and sturdy. Also, the placement of the on/off switch was a selling point for me. Many floor lamps have a foot switch, located on the bottom. This lamp has a switch placed higher up on the main post, easily accessible by hand. Overall, no regrets about this purchase. I tracked this item for months, waiting for a good sale and was able to get it for a great price. The only con I have is that it was tricky to put together without help from my hubby.
