The bed looks exactly how I thought it would look and I love the look. The feel of the wood is a bit rougher than expected but definitely solid wood, which I wanted. There was some damage on the frame from the installers or already there before it was put together. Didn’t inspect each piece as it came out of the box but inspected the bed when it was put together and saw the crack. Happy with my purchase but would like some answers about the crack.. Wendy. This bed is very well constructed and absolutely beautiful. I was very skeptical and feverous about it being too low, it was not! I did use bunkieboards for extra support with the mattress. The only thing I was not happy with was the color. I choose brown which is the darker color. However, what I received was an oil walnut which is lighter than the brown but darker than the caramelized. I decided to keep what I received and customer service was great.
