I really looked forward to this lamp. It's not bad overall. Heavy & sturdy base, assembling is easy. It actually comes with the tool you need, we just didn't see it at the beginning as it's packed separately. The lamp comes with two types of light bulbs. The pretty one (as on the website pic) is really dim. Wanted to use it in the living room but I think it will not be bright enough (even with the brighter lightbulb). Also it's a bit short. It's kinda my fault that I just took the website pic as a reference, didn't really pay attention to how tall it is. So again, will probably just use it in the bedroom. The one thing that really bothers me is that there is a really obvious scratch mark on the glass shade. It's annoying as it's at the center front. My OCD is kinda killing me... but we are too tired to repack everything back for a return.
