This is a great and stylish light for a good price! However it was very difficult to install simply because the wiring is all the same color clear plastic. You will have to split the plastic sleeve to separate the negative wire from the positive, then strip them, then use the very subtle ridges on the plastic casing to determine which is which. This is not in the instructions you’ll have to look it up. Some positives is that it comes with multiple lengths of pole covering so you can customize how low you want it to hang. Love this light fixture! As stated in previous reviews, the lampshade does appear to be white and brighter in these photos, but it is more oatmeal and has off-white flecks in the linen lampshade material. But knowing that, I was interested, and it did not disappoint. One thing to note: the seam on the lampshade is pretty noticeable when the light is on, so if you don't have a wall that "hides" the seam, it could be distracting and annoying to some. It’s nice but funky to get it lined up right. Assembly wasn’t hard. You have to do minor adjustments to get all the parts lined up right. The cap on the center part didn’t exactly fit100 but we got it close. Then the arms needed adjusted to be level. I think it’s becuase it comes all collapsed when it’s shipped.. Sharon.
