We purchased the brown console after much deliberation and we are so glad we did. It arrived fairly quickly and was delivered by a third-party local delivery service. Communication was great with that company and was delivered with no issues. The console was packed very well and there is no damage from packaging/shipping. The only assembly needed was to attach the 5 legs which were easily done. This piece feels solid and sturdy, but still easy enough to move with 2 people. We saw reviews that some of the doors ended up warping for others, but, everything looks good so far. We also read reviews of it smelling strongly of stain/chemicals but ours only had a slight smell. Regarding the shelves in the two middle sections, each has a shelf with two options for placement, or you can remove the shelf completely if you have something tall going in. The left middle section is the only one with a hole for cords to pass through to the back. We ended up adding more holes.
