The burnt orange color is so lovely and the slight southwest/geometric detail around the edges is interesting, not too much. Lots of people complain about the rug's shedding challenges, but HELLO, the rug is 100% wool! It sheds, peeps! Duh! If you want wool--and I DO want the natural fiber--shed happens! I use my beater mode on my vacuum to help lift the shed, and gradually there is less and less shed. The rug is holding up beautifully--it feels lush and cushy underfoot, the grands love doing yoga on it, or reading or wrestling around. It looks lush in our living room (and we have a runner too in our entryway). Additionally, we have the Blue Danette in our bedrooms and dining room. Love this rug, looks more expensive than it was. It needs to relax a bit after being rolled tight for shipping, but after 10 minutes it’s laying flat. Slight smell but that is to be expected. This rug is beautiful and soft. I like that it’s not pure white it’s sort of a mix of cream and light greys with the black. It’s light but seems like it will hide any stains ok haha. The tassels are a bit longer than I thought but they look nice. I like it even more in person that the pictures. I looked at other rugs in this price range and they were synthetic or the colors looked cheap. This rug is wool and the colors look classy. I appreciate whoever crafted this rug, it is beautiful and well made. It also “transitions” well from the middle eastern styled rug in the hallway which was also a factor for me. Handmade? 100% wool? Check and check. This Southwestern-inspired pattern featuring cool green and bright orange tones is hand-tufted in India with a .5” pile height that’s ideal for living rooms or bedrooms. We recommend pairing it with a rug pad to keep it in place. Pro tip: you usually want at least half of your furniture on the rug if it’s anchoring your space. Or go big, but make sure it’s large enough to fit all your furniture plus 1-2 feet of room on all sides.
