Our rug arrived one day earlier than the fast shipping quoted! It took less than three days to arrive! Once unwrapped there was a little chemical odor that was taken care of with an air purifier and open windows for a couple hours. The pad may have been the item that off gassed more than the rug. I bought this rug for my dining room and it was too small. When I unwrapped it- it was well wrapped- it turned out to not be a white as I thought it would be- not as high contrast as it looks in pictures.
