Honestly, I’m one of the pickiest people when it comes to home decor. This was the third rug I ordered. It is so perfect. Beautiful and soft and really well made. Party rug. This area rug’s bold mix of patterns is accented by dimensional tufting and a palette that fearlessly combines saturated hues with subtle neutrals. Handcrafted from resilient New Zealand wool in a plush but durable medium pile height, it’s here for a good time and a long time.
First of all, I love this rug! I have already gotten so many compliments on it. It's so unique and bold! However, I wouldn't recommend it if you have pets. The white parts get dirty very easily, regardless of how clean you are. Also, this rug is an absolute lint magnet AND sheds a ton when vacuuming (?).. the pics I attached are of my vacuum that was emptied prior to vacuuming it just once AND I had just vacuumed it the day before. You have to vacuum it a lot if you want it to stay looking nice. It’s a very beautiful rug, thick and feels substantial, but it sheds like crazy. We ordered the 8’ round version of this rug for a small guest room we have. We like the modern pattern the fact that it is wool not nylon. We also felt it was fairly priced. However, the actual color of the rug we received is drab! The photo of the item on line in the description is much nicer. There is no off-white in our rug. (See comparison photos above.) The lightest color in our rug is a kind of caramel. We will likely end up keeping the rug as returning it will be a hassle we do like the pattern. I am happy with this purchase. The quality is higher than expected and it is still plush. Others in comments noticed excessive fabric coming out but I haven’t. Seems normal. I have another woolen rug of similar quality not bought here and it’s similar in wear and tear. The colors are much more muted than the photos online suggest, but users images seem quite accurate for color. Roll out the organic pattern. This area rug showcases an artfully imperfect central medallion + geometric borders that draw on Southwestern textile motifs, in warm desert-like hues. It’s hand-tufted from wool, with a medium pile height that delivers the right mix of cushion and durability.
I love the look and feel of this rug and it is well worth the price but it does have flaws when it comes to the print with missing colors, outlines, and not squared corners. Another reviewer said that it is more yellow than ivory and it’s not. This rug is a classic ivory tone with a warm neutral grey with a dusty cornflower blue and warm light pink tone. I was anticipating a lot more shedding considering that the rug is wool but I only need to vacuum it on my weekly schedule and rarely find fibers between vacuumings.. Shannon.
