Our rug arrived one day earlier than the fast shipping quoted! It took less than three days to arrive! Once unwrapped there was a little chemical odor that was taken care of with an air purifier and open windows for a couple hours. The pad may have been the item that off gassed more than the rug. Absolutely love this rug! Its much more plush than I expected it to be. It had a slight odor when we rolled it out (to be expected) but was gone in less than 24 hours. It laid flat immediately. The vacuum does tend to pick up quite a bit of wool but I dont think this is abnormal as Ive heard this happening with other wool rugs.
