The burnt orange color is so lovely and the slight southwest/geometric detail around the edges is interesting, not too much. Lots of people complain about the rug's shedding challenges, but HELLO, the rug is 100% wool! It sheds, peeps! Duh! If you want wool--and I DO want the natural fiber--shed happens! I use my beater mode on my vacuum to help lift the shed, and gradually there is less and less shed. The rug is holding up beautifully--it feels lush and cushy underfoot, the grands love doing yoga on it, or reading or wrestling around. It looks lush in our living room (and we have a runner too in our entryway). Additionally, we have the Blue Danette in our bedrooms and dining room. I ordered the pink color that looks more like deeper cinnamon. Fortunately it still works with the decor so I’m keeping it. Also, the edges are somewhat frayed. The rug isn’t laying flat but hoping it’s due to being so tightly rolled for an extended period of time and will correct with time. For the sale price, it’s ok. We love this rug! It arrived quickly, rolled out smooth and added the perfect touch of boho style I was looking to add to our living room. As others have stated, yes it is very thin but that was exactly what I was looking for. The colors are perfectly muted and adds to that “vintage” vibe. The yellow lines other reviewers have mentioned are not as prominent on the rug we received. As you can see, our cats are loving it! My boyfriend already spilled water on the rug, and one of the cats spit up on it (all within 72 hours of it arriving ... sigh) but I am pleased to say I was able to clean up both accidents with no staining.
