We love this rug! It arrived quickly, rolled out smooth and added the perfect touch of boho style I was looking to add to our living room. As others have stated, yes it is very thin but that was exactly what I was looking for. The colors are perfectly muted and adds to that “vintage” vibe. The yellow lines other reviewers have mentioned are not as prominent on the rug we received. As you can see, our cats are loving it! My boyfriend already spilled water on the rug, and one of the cats spit up on it (all within 72 hours of it arriving ... sigh) but I am pleased to say I was able to clean up both accidents with no staining. The material is super soft underfoot- we don’t have a rug mat underneath ours, but if you want it to feel plush I highly recommend one. I love it as is and am extremely happy with my purchase! Long story. I have purchased five rugs from AllModern previous to this purchase. One of them was a slightly smaller version of the one I am reviewing now. All of them were (and are) perfect. I did also order a carpet pad for one. That pad smelled like some critter had snuck in and peed on it. No way to prove that with a pic. No problem, they took my word for it and refunded me immediately. This rug is a 9x12 version of the 8x10 we had previously bought and loved. The 9x12 just wasn’t quite up to the quality of the 8x10. The pile was not quite as high in spots, which caused the sculpting feature of this rug to slightly pale in comparison to the smaller rug. No problem. AllModern sent us another one, gratis.
