The colors are slightly less bright in person than in the photos - the cherry red accents are a little more burnt-orange, and the white/beige is a little more cream/tan. The brown and green colors are subtler than in the photos. It's a beautifully made rug, the wool is cozy and warm and feels great underfoot. We're happy with it! Note that our cat also loves it and immediately took to stretching and scratching on the rug - the loops easily pull out and look terrible from cat scratches, and you have to trim them (DON'T PULL THEM!) so it's a bit of work while training her, but I think it'll be worthwhile. We are using a "no-scratch" spray on the rug to train her not to scratch it, and so far it seems to be working. If you have a cat and don't want to deal with training or trimming scratch spots, I'd recommend against the loop-style rug.. Serena. Portland, OR. Mon Oct 05 2026

Oval 6' x 8'

The rug is unique and soft, the edges are a bit shiny and the center is more of warm cream color, give it interesting contrast. It's also pretty soft, not incredibly thick, but enough that I'd be able to sit on the rug comfortably. So many rugs now are very thin, and we wanted something that both felt nice to walk on but was thick enough to sit on as well. The one thing to look out for is that the size is not truly 5' x 8', my guess is due to the oval shape the sizing they gave was just an approximation off a standard rectangular rug. I like this rug and am pleased enough to keep it, but I deducted a star because the rug was described as being a mix of Gray/Blue/Beige, and the website photo clearly shows blue tones. However, there are no blue tones in the rug I received. It includes different shades of gray and beige, but no blue. That was quite disappointing, as the blue tones were a big part of why I selected this rug. I have only had the rug for a few days, but the quality seems good.
