The Bellagio Cadora lounge garden bench is made of powder-coated aluminum in the color charcoal. Aluminum is relatively light, weather-resistant, strong, and requires little maintenance. The powder coating gives the paint layer better protection. The frame is finished with an inlay of teak wood that has been treated with an old teak grey wash. This gives the teak a grey finish. Due to the weather influences, the greywash will eventually disappear and the teak will get its gray color. The garden bench comes with comfortable lounge cushions.
Maintenance
Maintaining the frame of your Bellagio Cadora lounge garden bench arm is simple. The powder-coated aluminum provides additional protection for the paint layer. The powder coating also ensures that dirt and dust cannot adhere properly to the garden bench. When the garden bench needs to be cleaned, you can do this with lukewarm water, green soap, and a microfiber cloth. When cleaning, avoid using a pressure washer or harsh detergents. These can cause the aluminum to be damaged. We recommend storing the garden bench indoors in winter. If this is not possible, you can leave the garden bench outside uncovered.
To extend the life of your garden bench, it is important to maintain the teak wood properly. Maintaining teak wood is easy. Our advice is to clean the garden bench inlay well twice a year. Avoid using a high-pressure cleaner or aggressive cleaning agents, as these can damage the teak. Before cleaning the inlay with teak, first, wet it well so that the pores of the teak wood are open. Next, use a coarse brush and a bucket of lukewarm water mixed with a cup of table salt or soda. Scrub lengthwise from the wood grain and then rinse the inlay well with water.
The lounge cushions can withstand a splash of rainwater. In case of a heavy shower, we recommend placing the cushions inside.
