Love the gold tone on this, not too bright. The base is very heavy and the shade has a panel on the bottom so you don’t get blinded if you happen to look up at it from underneath. Originally created in 1968, by the famous Viennese Designer, the Morelli Arc Lamp is a historical reissue masterminded by Peter Morelli himself. Peter was one of the first designers to utilize bent wood to create the unique arm of the lamp. When this light was originally introduced the design was attributed to Harvey Guzzini, a nom de plume used to disguise the identity of Nova’s chief designer and ensure he was not recruited away from Nova. It’s very tall and I’m still getting used to that, but fortunately the ceiling is quite high in that room.
