Updated Aug 7 2019: got a replacement and it looked perfect on our living room. The shade is lower than I imagined. We put in warm glow bulb so it feels comfortable at night (no glaring white tone). Overall it took much longer but I’m glad our replacement finally arrived so up the star to 4 (would have been 5 otherwise). Ordered this back in January and arrived with damaged base. I waited until now (mid July) when the base was supposed to have been delivered. Except that it was not delivered. I will be asking for a replacement instead (apparently it’s faster). This lamp was exactly as pictured and described. It look excellent in our apartment. Our one reservation is that the dimmer switch doesn’t work well with some dimmable bulbs. We had to buy three different types before we found one that worked. The first two constantly flickered and the one bulb that works has occasionally flickered and was also not in the 2300K range.
