Overall, a great lamp. Sleek, modern design that take up very little real estate - can be placed anywhere. Lamp shades look and feel a bit flimsy but overall a sturdy construction. The foot switch is pretty far from the base (can be good and bad) - if you need the switch closer to lamp, you would have to somehow hide a pile of cord (I just winded it up around the lamp base. Would be nice if it had space to tuck in extra cord). Fyi, each shade comes with a plastic cover. I almost threw them out thinking they were shipping covers.
