We ordered 10 of these place settings and find the color and glaze (Muslin) just beautiful and they pair well with other handmade dishware we own and use occasionally. The stoneware is sturdy and stacks nicely. The mugs feel so nice in hand! Be sure to measure your cupboards, as the largest dinner plates just barely fit in our overhead cupboards. To be honest i bought this on a whim. The description was Borgen Stoneware Dinnerware - Set of 4 - i assumed that meant four place settings! Ok that was my bad. But a bit misleading, The items description does NOT say service for 1 like it says here. Besides that my set in pale jade does not have the interesting color variation shown online. It looks like ordinary glazed blue plates, albeit with the fine crazing. Not quite the artisanal look I was hoping for. Also they are definitely blue and not pale jade as shown online.. Diane.
