You immediately sense Kahler's heritage of proud, traditional craftsmanship when you hold the stem and drink from the new wine glasses in Kahler's Hammershoi series. The proportions are balanced and classic, and the design language of the wine glasses in interaction with the iconic grooves highlights the classic, yet contemporary expression of the series, which is eternally current on the table. The grooves almost rise up and carry the round bowl at the top. Notice also the details, where the stem tapers both at the top and bottom – a reference to the design tradition that is the hallmark of a Hammershoi vase.

This flute, filled with champagne, concentrates the unique, yeasty bouquet of great champagnes while emphasizing their creamy texture on the plate. Vinum glasses have proved to consumers and restaurateurs that the pleasure of consuming wine starts with the glass. Offering a larger volume, the Vinum glass reveals the intensity and the wine's layers of aroma. The size of the bowl enables the rich bouquet to develop its wonderfully diverse range of aromas, emphasizing the finesse, while minimizing the risk of it becoming over concentrated. High quality wine glasses made by Riedel which is one of the brands known for their high-end, luxury, handmade glasses and decanters. These glasses are part of their Extreme Collection. They are machine-made, dishwasher-safe, and durable. I don't have worry about them being too precious for daily use and yet they are elegant and feel good in the hand. I can find "cheaper" glasses, but these are big bang for your buck if you want to get a quality glass and not break the bank. These Riesling glasses are the perfect size for white wine and I plan to purchase more and get some of the different kinds of red wine glasses from this collection. Highly recommend.. Lia. Two flutes, boxed together, which makes this an easy thing to hand someone and an easier thing to keep. Glass and a tall, narrow bowl are what champagne has always wanted. Pull them out for an anniversary or a Tuesday that needs marking, then put them back on the shelf where they look good waiting.
