They’re almost exactly as advertised. The plates are described to have a matte finish but they really have a have a pearly shine finish. I am a bit disappointed this is not the look I was going for but I looked for so long, finally piled the trigger on these that I don’t feel like returning and finding others. These plates were better than expected! These are melamine plates which is what I wanted but they are a thicker melamine which makes them feel more high end.
