This dimmable sconce nestles a mid-century-style globe shade into a hemispherical steel cap, for an updated look that evokes a half moon. It’s crafted from frosted glass that’s evenly illuminated by an included LED bulb. Install it facing down for task lighting, or up for a more ambient glow.

The lights look great and we love them, however, there are a few things that aren’t visible in the stock photos I’ll point out that. First, they have a bit of a textured finish to them which you can’t really discern in the photos. It’s not bad, but unfortunately it doesn’t match the other fixtures in the bathroom that we have them in. Secondly, there are some white ‘bumpers’ to protect the glass globe sandwiched between the globe and the metal housing. Its a well made lumineer folks. I believe the wood is radiata pine based on the striations, the mounting box is solid metal, impressive welding/soldering. The wiring harness is also of quality materials. The manner it emits light through the sanded (frosted) acrylic is really quite fetching. Two slight issues, well, one, it sits relatively close to the wall so the mirror you purchase should lay flat against the wall or as close as possible otherwise there will be a noticeable shadow cast...not a deal-breaker at all. The other is I wish it had the option to change the color of the light to something more soft. It is a little bright or sterile for the bathroom, but again not a deal-breaker for me. Installation was as expected (it even came with these tiny white gloves like you were handling a piece of art...very cute). Highly original fixture that I very much appreciate. Would recommend..
