Exactly the look we wanted. They look fresh and modern and not like everyone else’s typical round or tear drop pendants. Fun and lots of compliments! Minor issue that I think is not the worst still it’s something that should be prevented, but the extension pieces to decide how long the pendant should hang are not from the same color “dye lot” is what we imagine as some of the extensions don’t match in color to the others. But the lights are beautiful and if the focus is on the moments created under them and around the kitchen island, than the mismatched colors are truly not noticeable after a while. This pendant light was very easy to install and lightweight. This does not come with a light bulb but they were super easy to find small and use less energy than the light fixture I had installed prior so this was a huge plus. The ambient lighting is perfect for over the sink. The only thing I didn’t love was the wire is covered with a black fabric as opposed to what I originally thought was black metal. These pendants are a great addition for a small island countertop (7ft). They really elevated the aesthetic of the lights in our kitchen. You can use any A19 bulb, but we ended up using Edison bulbs to dim the lighting from the pendants. If you're a tall person, make sure you hang them at an ideal height, as the glass does not block all light and will hit your eye level and will not be pleasant -- part of the reason we chose to use Edison bulbs.. Be aware that if you don't have the pendant ready electrical, you will need to install a pendent conversion kit for recessed lighting, which requires a few tools and a capable hand. The ambient lighting is just what I was looking for to replace florescent lighting. This would be perfect if the wiring wasn’t being covered with a black fabric as opposed to what I originally thought was black metal. I don’t love the way the fabric somewhat bends I’d prefer it to look more taut and straight. Otherwise it’s a beautiful and simple light fixture.
