The lamp is OK, but the build quality is poor. The metal frame for the shade doesn’t attach securely and stays crooked. I had to use tape to keep it straight. The dimmer is placed about a foot from the lamp, so if you mount it on the wall, you end up with a big black box hanging below it. It looks bad. I expected more. This is a Wayfair product, not AllModern. AllModern is just Wayfair with different branding to seem more premium. Shipping was rough. The styrofoam shattered into tiny pieces and got everywhere. Oil Rubbed Bronze

It's a sconce! No, it won't answer to the adorable pet name you give it or have witty replies to your inane requests (don't worry, you have job security) but it will fill your room with functional light and deliver it via a thoughtfully proportioned design. Sure, it might be just a way to cancel out small parcels of darkness, but maybe, just maybe it could be a friend too. Because doing stuff in the dark can be hard.
