After looking at these lights for months, we went for it and have no regrets. They are the perfect fit to our kitchen and really ties the space together. They pair so well with smoked glass Edison bulbs. Just like another reviewer mentioned, the brushed silver bleeds over a little bit on the edges. Their are also slight warps/bulges in some areas. It took me a while to find a "tiered" light fixture and this hit the spot with the elegant combination of black and brass. It was easy to hang and was nice that you can adjust the height of each pendant per your need and taste. However, the outside (black) material is a little easy to scratch, which I did while hanging. This pendant light was very easy to install and lightweight. This does not come with a light bulb but they were super easy to find small and use less energy than the light fixture I had installed prior so this was a huge plus. The ambient lighting is perfect for over the sink. The only thing I didn’t love was the wire is covered with a black fabric as opposed to what I originally thought was black metal. I'm definitely happy with my purchase; they look great over my island! Knocking 1 star for two reasons: 1) it's not clear in the product photos that you must find a bulb large enough to peep out (I thought it might be a shade/cover), and 2) they're a little shaky and finicky which makes dusting them a bit of a pain..
