Beautiful bed frame, very soft texture, great color, looks exactly as pictured. Delivery time was timely, respectful and quick to setup the frame without any issues. Only feedback regarding frame is that slats should be about 2” apart for supporting a mattress without a box spring - these are more like 4” apart, so we will have to add slats or get a low box spring base. I searched for months for a bed that would fit around and hide the ugly plastic platform that came with our sleep number adjustable bed. The requirements were so specific, and I almost lost hope until I found this one. Bonus, it looks really nice too! We had white glove service, but basically the guys just had to remove the piece on the side slats that the rail sit on and then just push the connector pieces in. Took no time at all. Bed was wrapped and packaged well. Super easy to put together. Not sure about the stability or noise as stated in other reviews but it seems sturdy. Waiting for our boxed mattress to expand. Took off one star due to the chipped paint on the headboard (only part that can’t get a replacement piece) of course on the side that will be noticed. But Wayfair gave me 20 refund. We purchased the Cal King and a beautiful and solid wood piece that was easy to put together. We added a 9” box spring and have a 10” purple mattress on top; this gave a good height and I would recommend no lower then 18-20” because then you would see the non decorative slat on the headboard. The only issue, and this was in a previous review is that with the Cal King there is a few inches extra length. You don’t notice when the bed is made up but in order to keep your pillows from sliding off the bed we pushed the decorative pillows down between the mattress and headboard. I liked the piece enough to make the concession and maybe in the future we would build a 2x2 frame and add fabric to make an end piece to fit in here. If you push the mattress and box spring up to the head of the bed then you get the extra inches at the foot which is very obvious.
