Like other reviewers have noted, this vanity desk does sit a little high. One upside is you can easily cross your legs beneath it without bumping your knee. The black velvet lined drawers with their soft close add to a luxe feel. They are too shallow to hold a blow dryer but my make-up and jewelry fit fine. The colour in real life is slightly darker/muddier. It's not a bright ash. Item arrived well packaged in two boxes. Assembly was easy enough, and the drawers are already assembled so it didn't take very long. Be very careful during assembly that you don't drag the edges and chip the veneer by accident. Once assembled, there is no exposed area to risk this, though. There was a slight smell to the product resembling spray paint that gassed off within a weak. That being said, it is great quality, solid, and easy to put together. I won’t be returning because of the cost of the rerun since there was no damage due to shipping. Absolutely stunning. We assembled it mostly except for the back splash. It all came together on a pallet and was pretty much put together already! Took my husband 10 or so minutes... the quality is phenomenal. My only complaint is the sink color doesn’t quite match the brilliant white of the marble... maybe once we’ve put the sink in and see it all together it will blend better than seeing it separate. See photos. The doors and “shelving” are very nice, great storage capacity. Can’t wait to install it in our guest bath. (I’m considering getting the same styled double vanity for our master!). Robyn.
