Nasia Writing Desk

Very easy to put together. Well made and sturdy piece of furniture with excellent style details. The drawers have a really nice almost soft close, which was unexpected and a great feature. It looks great and is ample.

- Delivery: arrived as scheduled. The package did have some dents on the outside. - Damage (see pics): small 4x2mm dent to the surface of the table without clear corresponding dent on the exterior, suggesting it occurred during manufacturing rather than delivery. Also some flaked bit of wood at points of joinery. - Parts: Missing an M6 x45mm bolt and had an extra M6x30mm bolt for some reason. - Assembly: Instructions are clear if you just look closely at where drill holes are/things are oriented. Assembly is also straightforward - Overall: For the price, a pretty decent writing desk. Drawers work well, table feels sturdy minus the missing bolt. As others have said, it gives off a chemical smell, so I put an air purifier by it and that seemed to help.

I’m always worried buying furniture from an online only retailer for the first time due to some bad experiences. The box had some damage but everything was in perfect shape. The desk is more light maple than we expected but it is solid, well built, and beautiful. It’s just unique and cool designed piece of furniture. It does have a weird smell (almost like gasoline) that I hope goes away soon. The instructions are just a collection of photos in a weird order, but I put it together by myself in an hour and that was after doing the legs in the wrong order.

It is a beautiful desk. I only give it 4 starts because it arrived damaged. There was a considerable chip on the top of the desk. It is not worth sending it back. I can tell that the desk got a severe hit while in the package. The package arrived damaged, almost broke open, and the protecting styrofoam had an intend in the same spot. If the desk had been ugly, I would be sending it back but overall the quality is excellent. another unpleasant surprise was to find the warning about the materials used for the drawers. All the desk is solid wood except for the inside of the drawers, which contained materials known to the state of California to cause harm --but I had chosen this desk because it is advertised as safe.

I love this desk! We moved into this house and didn’t want to block any of the light from these windows. I find myself excited to sit down to work at this desk. It was super easy to put together. The wood is really nice and the drawers are great quality. I love the clean lines and styling possibilities.
