While this Soleil 3-drawer nightstand is sturdy, nicely understated, well-packaged, white-glove delivered, assembled and I appreciate that its legs keep it off the floor, the bottoms of the drawers are FLIMSY. Im very surprised. While nightstands often hold smaller items, theres no excuse for thin, average-at-best drawer bottoms in such an expensive, otherwise solid wood and beautiful piece. This dresser is exactly what I was looking for. It's big, solid and looks sophisticated. The color is a cool off-white, with a lot of texture in the wood. Like a light piece of driftwood. It has a bit of a coastal vibe, but the metal drawer pulls give it a sophisticated look. The drawers are soft close (although one doesn't work correctly, but it's not a drawer I'll use often) and as other reviewers mentioned, it comes with 2 removable jewerly trays/organizers. Note that the 2 trays only work with the top 2 drawers. I'm giving it 4 stars for two reasons. The 1st reason is a one-time thing. The delivery men brought the dresser up to my bedroom, but said there weren't allowed to take the packaging off. So I spent a good hour fighting to get this huge dresser out of the cardboard packaging, including the cardboard base it was sitting on (it's super heavy). And had to get all the giant cardboard pieces downstairs to our recycling bins. For $1600, I expected the packaging to be removed by the delivery team. The 2nd reason is a more permanent issue. One of the reasons I ordered this particular dresser was the size of the drawers. However, they don't pull out all the way. The dresser is 19" deep, but the drawers only extend 14", so you lose 5" of space in each drawer. The 2nd photo shows the delta. Overall, I'm really happy with the piece. This chest was delivered in perfect condition and exactly as pictured. The dark gray color works well in our office/guest room and the drawers are deeper than we expected. They also pull out farther than another dresser I have from Wayfair and they close securely. This isn't a complaint but the gold handles are on the brassy side of gold. The quality is more a 3-star, but added a star as the style of the dresser looks nice and is what I expected. The interlocking system made some jangling chain sounds when opening and closing the drawers. I had to diy/macgyver the locking system by putting in some adhesive cushion to curb some of the jangling noise;,which was annoying; but ultimately I got it to where I was happy with that sound so that’s good. There are also a couple of chips in the paint or lacquer of the drawers which isn’t awesome, but not too noticeable. The chest is fine, but be aware that it is 42” wide and 32” tall NOT 42” tall by 32” wide as specified on the website when I ordered. It had the height and width reversed. I altered the company of the website error (including sending a photo showing the dimensions of the one I got) more than a week ago, but it has not been corrected as of the date of this review.
