Beautiful bed frame, very soft texture, great color, looks exactly as pictured. Delivery time was timely, respectful and quick to setup the frame without any issues. Only feedback regarding frame is that slats should be about 2” apart for supporting a mattress without a box spring - these are more like 4” apart, so we will have to add slats or get a low box spring base. Structurally, the bed is excellent (5 stars). It has quality substantial parts which fit together well. Once assembled it is heavy, but that adds to the secure feeling once the box springs, mattress and bedding are on it. It is a lovely light grey velvet, and the perfect size and look for our room. However, NO WAY can you put it together in 2 hours. Took my husband 4+ hours, and he has worked on mechanical things for ~50 years. Plus he used some if his specialized tools. The bed is beautiful and very well made. It takes at least 2 people to assemble and due to screws not lining up properly (i’ve read about this in other reviews as well) takes a decent chunk of time. Be aware that the frame sits much lower to the ground than it appears in the images, check the measurements. I gave 4 stars because the mattress sits very deep in to the frame, it was difficult to put sheets on. I had to purchase a 4” metal bed riser so that it would sit higher.. Natalie. OH.
