I recently discovered AllModern had a physical store near me. One of the items I was in love with online was the Leander console. It just oozes classy MCM vibes. The store actually did not have it on display the day I went, but seeing the quality, I felt confident in ordering the Leander. It was delivered a few days later and I couldn’t be more pleased. It is elegant and beautiful, but also solidly built. The drawers open smoothly, the doors align perfectly and there is nary a flaw. Everything I purchased from AllModern seems to have come triple wrapped, and it surprised me that a company would take that much care in the shipping of their products. Tried to put the legs on ourselves, but the holes for the screws had not been drilled properly on one side. We engaged an Angi installer, who drilled new holes. I asked him to look at a loose hinge on one door, He said both hinges were bent, one broken, probably during packing. We are awaiting new hinges, which will arrive in about a month. I'm not detailing this to discourage anyone from purchasing, just to give a heads-up on what to look for. The cabinet is beautiful, very heavy, and I'm still glad I bought it.. Nancy. Phoenix, AZ. Very heavy, solid piece and it looks great. If I have a criticism, it would be that it looks like it should have two drawers but it only has one, plus a small open shelf over the drawer. I was really hoping the shelf would have an opening to the back or side for a cord to go through since it would be a great place to keep a phone/laptop but no such luck, it is totally solid.. Scott.
