I bought the oak table from Wayfair a few months ago. I ordered a walnut sideboard, which seemed to match the table in the pictures from Wayfair, but it did not. There’s a small crack on the BACK of the sideboard but I’m not worried about it being that it will face the wall. I ordered a sideboard from Allmodern. First delivery the item was damaged and I did not accept delivery. The wood was cracked and peeling away on the bottom of the unit in a very visible area. There was alot of back and forth about whether another unit was available. I finally received a replacement. It too was damaged with some small gouges in the wood of the doors and around the edges. The wood was chipped along the bottom edge above the leg. There were a few red streaks like sharpie marker on the side of the unit. One door was not attached but the delivery men were able to fix it. There was a lot of rearranging of existing furniture to make room for the new piece which had to be put back while waiting for the replacement. Didn’t want to go through it a third time so I accepted the second piece at a 20% discount. Still had to pay over $1400 for damaged goods. I guess it’s not realistic to think that a new piece of furniture should arrive in good condition. I do like the piece of furniture but would expect undamaged goods and much less hassle. Had several issues out of the box. The frame at the bottom was coming apart, and in the process pulling the doors out of alignment. There was a broken chip near one of the door hingers. Several cracks in the side and top. Since it would be a hassle trying to return it, and I plan on using it as a printer stand, I've patched it up myself and added some screws to hold the bottom together. I love this bookcase! I am not using it as a bookcase as you can see in the photo. The wood is beautiful and very sturdy and heavy. The hardware shown in the picture is very sturdy as well…doesn’t feel like it’s going to snap easily or fall apart like other hardware.I like the fact that this piece is multi functional. I recently discovered AllModern had a physical store near me. One of the items I was in love with online was the Leander console. It just oozes classy MCM vibes. The store actually did not have it on display the day I went, but seeing the quality, I felt confident in ordering the Leander. It was delivered a few days later and I couldn’t be more pleased. It is elegant and beautiful, but also solidly built. The drawers open smoothly, the doors align perfectly and there is nary a flaw. Everything I purchased from AllModern seems to have come triple wrapped, and it surprised me that a company would take that much care in the shipping of their products. Which is rather sad, but also speaks to AllModern’s customer-focused approach. The delivery guys were great and set it up for us with the free white glove service. So happy with my purchase!. Hello, beautiful piece, love the look and quality. However, it came with no owner's manual and it appears to have built in lights that we have no idea how to get working. The light aspect was not even part of the product details when purchased. It is a nice perk, but need to know how to actually be able to get them to be functional. I love it! I got this size because the bigger one was going to take months. But I'm VERY glad this is the size I got. It's almost too big. Delivery was easy. I do wish they gave you more notice or allowed you to schedule when it's convenient for you. However, the delivery guys were great. I saw one again the next day when my couch arrived (and I only got an hour notice for an 8am delivery). I love the drawers and cabinet.
