I bought the oak table from Wayfair a few months ago. I ordered a walnut sideboard, which seemed to match the table in the pictures from Wayfair, but it did not. I couldn’t return it because it had been assembled but I have another place. It can go. This new sideboard is oak and it matches perfectly. I took these pictures on the day that I received the sideboard so no candles or vases or statues are on it yet. Had several issues out of the box. The frame at the bottom was coming apart, and in the process pulling the doors out of alignment. There was a broken chip near one of the door hingers. Several cracks in the side and top. Since it would be a hassle trying to return it, and I plan on using it as a printer stand, I've patched it up myself and added some screws to hold the bottom together. I ordered a sideboard from Allmodern. First delivery the item was damaged and I did not accept delivery. The wood was cracked and peeling away on the bottom of the unit in a very visible area. There was alot of back and forth about whether another unit was available. I finally received a replacement. It too was damaged with some small gouges in the wood of the doors and around the edges. The wood was chipped along the bottom edge above the leg. There were a few red streaks like sharpie marker on the side of the unit. One door was not attached but the delivery men were able to fix it. There was a lot of rearranging of existing furniture to make room for the new piece which had to be put back while waiting for the replacement. Didn’t want to go through it a third time so I accepted the second piece at a 20% discount. Still had to pay over $1400 for damaged goods. I guess it’s not realistic to think that a new piece of furniture should arrive in good condition. I do like the piece of furniture but would expect undamaged goods and much less hassle. Nice console with good design aesthetically. First console arrived with doors not aligned well and a replacement order was placed which was appreciated. Took ~2 months for the delivery of replacement and it arrived nicely for the most part. The white glove chipped a part of one of the doors and AllModern provided a partial refund. A couple things I would complain about is that the magnetic attachments for the doors do not align as well as it should be. Especially for a $1500 piece.
