The table did have a small chip upon the delivery drivers opening it but we were able to get that handled with customer service easily. Teak is a durable, greasy wood that is very suitable for outdoor use. It is best to bring your garden furniture inside in winter. However, if this is not possible, they can safely be left outside with their custom cover.

This table is gorgeous. I wanted a solid wood table top, not a veneer. It looks black in the photos, but in real life it's very dark with brown undertones in the stain. The effect is gorgeous, but definitely not black up close. I did have an issue with the hardware during assembly: needed to go out and purchase longer screws (4) and additional washers (12). This is the only time I've ever had an issue assembling an AllModern piece. Luckily it was only a $7 trip to the hardware store to fix so I didn't need to get Customer Service involved, but the assembly/hardware for this product needs to be reviewed.
