Overall the experience was good. The shipping time was excellent. The product was well packaged but still came with some minor scuffs and would be nice if a touch up pen was included. The way they installed the handles for shipping left marks on the drawer face that are bigger then the handles. I'm also wondering if the legs are expected to seat all the way into the grooves on the bottom. The bolts are already tight; I can tighten more, but im afraid the wood will split.. Anonymous. Gorgeous dresser! It came fully assembled, just had to screw in the feet. Its is solid wood and super heavy. The hardware is the perfect brass color, not like a fake gold. The craftsmanship is high quality, it is very well made, the rattan is flawless. It has so much interior space! My other dresser was actually a little bigger but this can hold more. There is a lot of color variation in the wood grain. The description doesnt say what type of wood but it looks like maybe poplar or mango wood. The Santa Monica is made from solid Oak wood with a white Oak veneer finish all over. This piece combines excellent quality material and suburb design that makes it a wonderful addition in any bedroom space. This chest was delivered in perfect condition and exactly as pictured. The dark gray color works well in our office/guest room and the drawers are deeper than we expected. They also pull out farther than another dresser I have from Wayfair and they close securely. This isn't a complaint but the gold handles are on the brassy side of gold.
