The lights are very sharp looking, the gold separators are elegant, and the wires hang straight down so it is a clean look. These lights are a little different than the usual lights you hang up and plug in that are strung together. These lights have empty sockets with clips on the side that will hold each light in place. The bulbs are packaged individually and screw into the sockets. The sockets themselves are plastic and arent’t real durable. I really like the chandelier. However, I was concerned that it would be too tall according to the dimensions shown on the site. I even called your customer service to see if it could be shortened and I was told no it couldn't. I bought it anyway and brought it to a lamp repair shop to see if they could shorten it. Imagine our surprise when we opened the box and saw that the light hung down with three threaded rods. I was able to eliminate one rod to get the height I wanted.
