These are not inexpensive, but I like the subtle pop of color. I’d call the red more a cranberry than raspberry, but I actually like the color better than I would if it were more purple. They’re almost exactly as advertised. The plates are described to have a matte finish but they really have a have a pearly shine finish. I am a bit disappointed this is not the look I was going for but I looked for so long, finally piled the trigger on these that I don’t feel like returning and finding others. The organic-shaped edges are very well done, not awkward at all to eat from. They seem durable. I just don’t like the pearlized finish. I am really happy with this set of ceramic plates! There are 4 plates total in the set. They feel to be of really good quality and are well made. They are mostly matte with a slight sheen to them. I would describe the color as a faded terra cotta and it is beautiful. They serve well and stack well. Food looks really nice on them. They are very easy to hold and clean.
