So cheap it seemed a scam. But the bedframe arrived quickly, and took 15 minutes to assemble. I’m gonna give this bed 4 stars based on the fact that it’s reasonably priced, it goes together in like 10 minutes, and it looks nice, clean and simple. HOWEVER, the bed isn’t perfect. The side rails don’t line up perfectly at the footboard (at least on mine), it came with a couple small blemishes in the paint, and a chip. AND while I like what they did with the slats here by adding Velcro, I actually added some 1/4” mdf that I had on top of the slats because they are not very strong and I was worried about that. ALSO, my king mattress sticks out over the sides of the bed by about an inch on each side. So it seems the bed is about 2” too narrow. This is a very well made, stylish bed that really suits my space and decor. The reason that I can't give it 5 stars? The website lists the overall height as 32". This caused me a lot of conflict over purchasing it, because that meant that the headboard was much lower than I really wanted. But this was the best bed for my needs, so I went ahead and ordered it reluctantly. So imagine my surprise when, after the bed was assembled, I measured and found out the headboard was really 40" high! No part of this bed is 32" high, and I'm pleased as can be, but I delayed the purchase a few weeks because of the listed height of 32". I even contacted Union Rustic and asked if the headboard was truly 32" and non-adjustable, and they confirmed that wrong information.
