Kiln-dried wood comes in a distinctive finish, while three felt-lined dovetailed drawers provide stash-away space for various supplies. The spacious, rectangular desktop is perfect for your laptop and a lamp.

Definitely NOT “acorn” colored. This is a dark cherry or mahogany red stained piece of furniture. I am extremely disappointed in how it looked in the photos and how NOT light brown it is. I think the manufacturer either sent me the wrong color or they significantly changed the stain without communicating it to All Modern. That being said, it is great quality, solid, and easy to put together. I won’t be returning because of the cost of the rerun since there was no damage due to shipping. Customer service was able to give me a credit, thankfully, but so far I’m getting a good impression as a first time customer.. Anonymous. US. Tue Feb 21 2023

First desk had bars that weren’t welded correctly, but great customer service because All Modern sent me an entirely new desk. Giving 4 stars for the fact that this item has to be bolted to the wall. And nowhere in the description online does it say that… makes it sound like it just leans and will be stable, but it doesn’t. So I had to hire a handyman to secure it to the wall.. Stacey. Solid and what I’d hoped for. The Redford desk looks great and almost an exact match to the pictures. The quality is very good, it is very heavy and well constructed, and fit and finish appears to be great. The drawers are good but are not full depth (they are 13 inches deep verses the desk depth of 28 inches). Absolutely love this desk; it's sleek, modern, and packs a punch for space thanks to the upper shelf. The materials look high quality and overall, it's very sturdy. It is on the more expensive side, but you pay for what you get -- and what you'll get is something that is a piece of furniture you'll have for a while. What's so great? - Upper shelf is great if you use multiple monitors - Very functional & practical -- Might be unique to us, but the space under the shelf is absolutely perfect to fit a midi keyboard - Great size at 42" - it's not too small, but not overwhelmingly big so you can fit it in a dual purpose room like 'bedroom/office'.
