The dimensions from floor to bed are inaccurate from the product description. The bed slats are too far apart to adequately support any high-end memory foam mattress like Casper or Purple. I had to add 11 extra slats to achieve proper support for the mattress. There is very little real wood on this bed which explains the low price. Still a pretty bed. Bed is somewhat easy to assemble. This bed is very well constructed and absolutely beautiful. I was very skeptical and feverous about it being too low, it was not! I did use bunkieboards for extra support with the mattress. The only thing I was not happy with was the color. I choose brown which is the darker color. However, what I received was an oil walnut which is lighter than the brown but darker than the caramelized. I decided to keep what I received and customer service was great.
